How much are you spending?
We surveyed some students and asked them how much they spend on an average night out and how many times a week they go out.

On average these students spend £30 on a night out.

On average these students go out twice a week.
Therefore, these students are spending on average £60 a week on alcoholic beverages.
We calculated that students are spending £1600 a year on this basis (only accounting for term times).
In order to put this into perspective, rather than just a bunch of figures, as alarming as they may be, we devised a spreadsheet showing students how much £30 could go in terms of a food shop.
