Voting for the elections open on Monday and it’s important that you know who you are going to vote for and so we ask all our candidates to submit a manifesto explaining who they are and what they plan to do if elected.

Please not that not all candidates have submitted a manifesto but the full list of candidates is listed in the booklet.

Vote online from Monday
This year sees us switch over from the traditional paper ballot voting system and over to electronic voting with aim that this will allow more students than ever to have their say and cast their vote. In the past not everyone has been able to come onto campus and physically complete their ballot form and not everyone has had the time to send off a postal ballot, so we hope that this system will allow everyone a fair chance to vote so we will have a more democratic election process.
To vote you simply need to login to StudentNet (www.canterbury.ac.uk/student) and follow the voting link on the homepage. This will send you to the Students’ Union voting site and you will be able to vote securely for any or all the positions you like.
It really is that easy. Voting opens 9am Monday 27th February and closes 5pm on Friday 2nd March with results to follow at 8pm.
