Entertainments at the Broadstairs Campus are normally held at Horizons Bar, in the Allen Building, and are usually organised and run by Adem Djemil (Campus Co-ordinator) and the Broadstairs Campus Committee. We rely on student input to plan what events occur and so if you have any ideas or would like to run a night here then please get in touch.
If you would like to get involved with Ents at Broadstairs then you can do this in many ways:
- Suggest an event – Is there something that you’d like to see happen at the Broadstairs campus?? Just email us with your suggestion and we’ll do our best to make it a reality.
- Run an event – If you would like to run an event in Horizons, then please drop by and see Adem in Cg15 or contact us for a chat, and we’ll do our best to help you, and could even fund certain aspects of it if we knew that it was going to help our students.
- DJ at events – Are you a budding DJ or have you no experience but would like to learn?? We are always looking for DJs for events at Horizons, and would like to create a roster of DJs with different tastes and styles. We can’t pay you, but we can train you, and also fuel your ego, so get in touch.
- Publicise events – We are always looking at way of getting people to come to Students’ Union events, and if you think you’ve got what it takes to produce top-notch posters, etc, then please get in touch.
