The Students’ Union is constantly assessing its impact on the environment and is making positive changes to the way we operate. This section of the website is dedicated to how as a Students’ Union we are adapting and evolving our services to make them more environmentally friendly and also how our students can make a difference through their lives.
CCSU Goes Green Committee
We have own our very own Green Committee which is constantly looking at ways to build sustainability in to all our operations as well are raising awareness of green matters amongst both students and staff to help minimise our impact on the environment. The University also has a Sustainable Development Committee and also has a sustainable development web-site.
The University and Students’ Union are committed to the development of sustainable travel arrangements and all visitors, staff and students are asked to use the greenest form of travel they can on every occasion they are able.
Please visit the Transport and Travel pages on the University website to find out about walking, cycling, bus and train timetables, etc for all campuses.
Cycling keeps you fit, is good for your wallet and is kind to the environment. If you are a cyclist and would-be cyclist then click here to find out more about the CCCU Bicycle Users Group.
