We are looking for a team of committed and enthusiastic individuals to be PlaySport Makers.
Christ Church Sport is currently looking for a team of committed and enthusiastic individuals to be PlaySport Makers in support of the brand new PlaySport project which is aimed at getting both students and staff playing sport on a regular basis.
The project which is funded by Sport England launches this September and gives members of the University opportunities such as joining sports leagues or trying activities on a more casual basis. PlaySport will also work with student groups with a barrier to engagement by setting up bespoke activities specifically for those groups. The project even goes so far as setting up activity across Kent meaning those that commute to one of the campuses can engage in sport near to where they live!
If you want to be a part of this fantastic project, then please sign up on the Canterbury Volunteering website and express interest in the PlaySport Makers role. The opportunity will help you develop skills in sports development, event management and marketing as well as look very reputable on your CV. You’ll also get a FREE PlaySport hoody and t-shirt and also have the opportunity to benefit from subsidised coaching and officiating sports courses.
For more information on the role, please get in touch with the PlaySport Team by contacting playsport@canterbury.ac.uk.
