Last month the students at Broadstairs Campus voted in their new Campus Committee and although the voting turnout wasn’t huge the important thing was the candidates’ commitment to getting elected and them actually making a choice and standing for a position.

The students elected onto the Campus Committee are:

• Richie Martin
• Gary Jones
• Danny Gobin

The Committee works with the Students’ Union Campus Co-ordinator to arrange entertainments and activities, resolve welfare issues, and bring up any other matters involving students at the Broadstairs Campus. Not only does this ensure students voices are heard on every level, but that more students can be involved democratically with the direction the Students’ Union chooses.
