Tipping-off Wednesday afternoon at Christ Church’s shiny new sports centre, the Women’s Basketball game was a well-fought one, both teams determined and giving away as little as they could. UKC scored first and solidified this with a strong opening streak of points, defending skilfully when required, forcing Christ Church to raise their game, leaving the first quarter score at 22-14 to UKC.
