It’s that time of year, shortly students will be hanging banners, handing out flyers and competing for poster space around the campus, all the while dressed in outlandish costumes and t-shirts covered in glitter and slogans. No, it’s not the latest sport fixture on a Wednesday, it’s Elections!
So what is this glittering prize that so many students are willing to campaign in rain, snow, and blazing sunshine for? Well, it’s the chance to be part of the team that leads the Union for an entire year.

Last month the students at Broadstairs Campus voted in their new Campus Committee and although the voting turnout wasn’t huge the important thing was the candidates’ commitment to getting elected and them actually making a choice and standing for a position.
The students elected onto the Campus Committee are:
