About Us

Welcome to Students for Global Health Canterbury! We are a new, local branch of a national network of students working together to tackle a range of global and local health inequalities through education, advocacy and community action.

Students for Global Health (SfGH) is a registered charity with a vision of a fair and just world in which equity in health is a reality for all. There are over 30 branches at universities across the UK, and SfGH is the UK student representative at the International Federation of Medical Students’ Associations (IFMSA).

We are hoping to host a range of activities across both Canterbury and Medway campuses and would really value your input into the shaping of our branch.

We are an open and inclusive group, welcoming students with an interest in global health from all degree programmes. If you would like to know more or have any suggestions about activities, don’t hesitate to contact us via email or on any of our social media accounts. We look forward to hearing from you all!
