About Us

Join our diverse and inclusive society to engage in fun activities with a purpose for society. Bring your ideas for campaigns and social issues we could be challenging.

Students for Activism is a society of likeminded students’ that are interest in being part of actions towards positive change. This year we are also a part of Oxfam and Amnesty International and plan on working with them for a range of projects. Being part of this society will mean you are a part of Oxfam and Amnesty International!

We have lots of exciting things planned for this year. Below you'll see a little bit more information about the society and a list of dates and events that will be happening in the next few months! This year we have decided to develop an existing idea about fast fashion and consumerism. From this we have a fantastic free event planned! A Clothes swap!

This is a simple idea that will be a lot of fun, swapping clothes and getting to know a lot of like-minded people.

We also have an informal get to know you meeting happening on the 23rd November where we can discuss ideas and the fast fashion campaign. And we will also be introducing Oxfam and Amnesty International as this year they will be joining us! "

We look forward to meeting you and for you to be a part of a great society!
