About Us

Non-profit society working towards improving animal and human rights worldwide.

As a society our aim is to try our best to improve and educate about the similarities and differences between animal and human rights, whilst having fun. We are open to: CCCU, Kent and Community.

We meet weekly for a range of great activities, such as: debates, talks, movies, and more around the topics of animal and human rights. We also go out for weekly socials

In 2019 we raised over £300 for our Homeless community in Canterbury from our bakesale and our "Sleepover In The Bar Soc Takeover", which featured the amazing musicians: Daniel Keane, Count. and DJ Joel.

Each semester we run 1 Major and 1 Minor Campaign, which will both be either human or animal rights based. The Minor Campaign will mirror the Major though be for the opposite rights group, i.e. in 2019 S1 our Major was Canterbury homelessness and our Minor was deforestation. We do this to highlight the similar issues within human and animal rights as well as the differences.
