About Us

The Students' Union Music Society is open to any student with a passion for music whatever the style. We welcome people from across the university to share their musical talents with us.

The Students’ Union Music Society is open to any student with a passion for music - be it classical, jazz, rock, pop, etc! We offer members the oppertunity of playing in various ensembles, no matter what standard, with the aim to perform in concerts or gigs. We welcome people from across the university to share their musical talents with us and help create more music around Canterbury. If there is a group you would like to start then contact us and we would be happy to support you!

We are proud to announce that we will be supporting, for the second year running, the charity "Strode Park Foundation", a family-centred, Kent-based charity. Strode Park provides vital care, support services, care at home and supported living opportunities for children and adults with a range of disabilities. All society concerts and charity socials held this year will be raising money for Strode Park.

We also offer a range of socials. These range from drinking based to sober chilled nights along with a Winter and Summer ball!
