About Us

The CCSU Midwifery Society (MidSoc) aims to unite Midwifery students across all cohorts from Medway and Canterbury campuses, as well as any other students interested in learning more about the art and science of midwifery practice.

We host study days with guest speakers from all areas of the profession, organise conferences and social events and raise money for the Lucy Bannister Fund.

MidSoc membership will benefit the academic work of our members, as well as promote communication between the various cohorts so we can learn from each other.

We understand that at times the heavy workload can be very challenging, but we aim to provide support to our members too with the help of the Bannister Buddies Scheme. Being part of a motivated and passionate society can really lift your spirits.

Sign up, get involved and help to make MidSoc work for you!
