Have you taken the pledge?
At Canterbury Christ Church University, we believe that we all have a part to play in creating inclusive and welcoming campuses, free from harassment.
By all coming together, we have the power to stand up for our University values and to make it clear that as a community we expect respect and do not support bullying or harassment of any form including that of a sexual nature.
Talk with your friends and colleagues about respect – understand what it is, how it makes people feel and why it is not ok to disrespect someone. Find out what support is available for those who experience discrimination or harassment and what the consequences of unacceptable behavior towards others could be.
If you see harassment taking place and you feel safe to do so, challenge it. Sign up to our Bystander Training which will help give you the knowledge, ability and confidence to report and take action against sexual harassment.

Think about your own actions.Harassment may not always be intentional, but anything that creates an intimidating, humiliating or offensive environment is harassment.
Canterbury Christ Church University take reports of any incidents very seriously. If you have witnessed or experienced harassment, we are here to support you.
We believe you should never be made to feel uncomfortable by another individual or ever have to put up with sexual harassment.
