Our first Union Council meeting of the year on Wednesday 12 December. Our fantastic new Union Council gathered in Rochester House to hear about our sabbatical officers sucessesses so far and discuss any campaigns they are working on.
The enthusiastic group were full of ideas on how to enhance the student experience. Increasing the allowance for post-graduate students was discussed and the wider issue for student book loans on all courses was made apparent. Our Council also asked for better and faster communication between sabbatical officers and students.
All of our sabbatical officer reports were passed and Union Council concluded that they were satisfied with all decisions made. Our Union Council officers will be taking these campaigns further in the New Year and we cannot wait to update you on the progress they have made.
