Who will get your vote?

Candidates for the full-time 2019 Officers Elections have been announced! What roles are the candidates standing for?

  • Union President provides leadership for Christ Church Students’ Union, is focused on the students' academic experience and is the lead liaison with the University, also being the University Student Governor. We have two candidates for Union President.
  • President (Development) provides leadership for Christ Church Students’ Union and is focused on the creation and sustainability of student groups and students' skills development, and is the lead liaison with the Medway, Broadstairs and Tunbridge Wells campuses. We have three candidates for President (Development).
  • President (Sports and Engagement) provides leadership for Christ Church Students’ Union, is focused on sports and physical extracurricular activity as part of the student experience, as well as on student engagement with the Students’ Union, and is the lead liaison with BUCS. We have provides leadership for Christ Church Students’ Union, is focused on sports and physical extracurricular activity as part of the student experience, as well as on student engagement with the Students’ Union, and is the lead liaison with BUCS. We have three candidates for President (Sports and Engagement).
  • President (Wellbeing) provides leadership for Christ Church Students’ Union, is focused on the wellbeing of students, supporting the advancement of students as citizens in society, and is the lead liaison with the local community. We have six candidates for President (Wellbeing).

Candidate's Debate Night

Candidates take part in our Debate Night on Thursday 21 Feb 0219, where candidates go head to head and answer your questions. Submit your questions here and get your voice heard. Debate Night is  5- 8pm in the Lounge.

Cast Your Vote

Voting is open between Monday 4th March at 10am and Thursday 7th March at 5pm. Plenty of time to get reading the manifestos and making an informed decision on who to vote for. Not sure how to vote? We've put together a short guide here.

Results Night

Finally, our results are announced on Results Night on Friday 8th March at 7pm.
