Music Society

The Students’ Union Music Society is open to any student with a passion for music - be it classical, jazz, rock or pop etc! We offer members the experience of playing in various ensembles, no matter what standard, with the aim to perform in concerts or gigs. We welcome people from across the university to share their musical talents with us and help create more music around Canterbury. If there is a group you would like to start then contact us and we would be happy to support you!

This year we are also offering piano lessons from beginners to grade 5 standard. Please contact us if you're interested in learning!

Every year we sponsor a charity! This year we're raising money and awareness for the Strode Park Foundation, who support children and adults with a range of disabilities in Kent through providing residential care, skill development and welcome music and art.

We also offer a range of socials; from pub themed to sober chilled night along with a Christmas and Summer ball!

So whether we see you at rehearsals, socials or concerts, we hope to see and hear from you soon!
