Why do you want to apply for an Officer position?

My name is Mihai and I believe that effective leadership is about fostering a sense of community, facilitating positive change, and advocating for the needs of all individuals within the student body. I am eager to contribute my skills, experiences, and dedication to initiatives that enhance student life, promote inclusivity, and create opportunities for personal and academic growth. I am excited about the prospect of collaborating with other student leaders to make a meaningful impact and leave a lasting legacy on our campus

What are your priorities?

  1. Advocating for student needs: Representing the interest and concerns of my peers, advocating for policies and initiatives that improve the overall experience.
  2. Promoting Inclusivity and diversity : Foster a welcoming and inclusive environment where all student feel valued and respected regardless of their background, identity, or beliefs.
  3. Facilitating communication : establish effective channels of communication between students, faculty, and administration to ensure transparency and facilitate collaboration.
  4. Organizing events and activities: Plan and execute events , workshops, and initiatives that carter to the diverse interests and needs of the student body, promoting social engagement and academic enrichment.
  5. Addressing student wellness: Prioritize student well-being by promoting mental health awareness, facilitating access to support services, and organizing wellness activities and initiatives.
  6. Supporting academic success: Provide resources and support to help students excel academically, whether through tutoring programs, study groups, or academic workshops.

What skills and experience do you have that would make you a good Officer?

Communication skills, problem solving skills, adaptability, organizational skills, empathy an emotional intelligence. Overall I believe that with this set of skills I can contribute positively to the campus community.
