Candidate for the position of MedSoc - Vice-President

VERONIKA Pavukova

Hi fellow medics! I hope your Easter holidays were lovely and you've come back re-energised for the last term of the year. We could all use some time now to think and reflect about our studies, future careers and what we wish to achieve. I believe that MedSoc plays an essential role in helping us become the medical professionals we all want to be. As we all know, the first 2 MedSoc teams have done an absolutely amazing job setting out the foundations for this cause. However, as everything new, there's always room for improvement and that improvement needs to be based on the voice of the students and their wishes. I wish to become a friendly face for everyone to have in the committee and feel safe to approach, to handle anything that's in my power. As a part of the founding Surgical Society committee, I believe I've acquired the skills and learnt the way things work, in order to do this job well and with a passion. As an example of what I wish to achieve as VP is push for change from things like the FTs , as well as simple things for our comfort like making sure the vending meachine at Pears actually works. Just like healthcare, MedSoc isn't a one-man show. It requires everyone's input and efforts. I intend to keep it that way. Vote for me to get yourself a say in how we build MedSoc together!
