Hello everyone! 
 

I'm Reva, a first year student. I am running for widening participation officer because I believe there are a lot of people with the potential to be amazing doctors that haven't  pursued this path because they haven't seen anyone like them in these type of spaces. Or perhaps no one has seen the potential in them and provided them with the mentorship and resources to be able to make it here. I am sure there are a lot of us in the medical school who can relate to that. I want to do what I can to help KMMS reach out to individuals who may be in the same boat by working with local schools, universities and organisations who equip aspiring medics with the tools they need to apply to medical school and mentor them throughout their degree. As a youth leader and student ambassador, I have seen the value in believing in and encouraging individuals who haven't really had that type of investment into their future and goals before. It is definitely something I am passionate about so I hope that if I do get your vote I can really make a difference!
