My name is Yvette M Bissong.I am count mself priviledged to stand for this position as president representing communites, diversity and inclusion. These three words represent everything I am passionate about. As a student of CCCU,I have attended  both campuses(Canterbury in the past and now Medway) over a four year period .Hence why I would like to see myself as one who has somehow understood the challenges faced by students from both sites and  whose first language is not english(To me this is a real issue).Secondly,i want to represent students who have any form of disability ,be it physical ,psycholgical or learning difficuties or challenge Not forgetting students with protected characteristics.Interestingly i fall under each of these groups  and yes i may NOT understand what my fellow colleagues are going through but i certainly relate with some of the challenges we all are exposed being a student at Christ Church.I intend to utilise my position now as an FNF student council member and a Unison Representative and a student representative at the ongoing modules restructuring meetings to amplify all your concerns to the right places and the right people. My position so far  has empowered me to not only lead by words but also negotiate with orgarnisations, management heads and stakeholders on the best  WAYFORWARD.I will like to be that Voice, hope and inspiration for our students because I now understand the level of support available. But Until u vote for someone who has been in it,experienced it the challenges will remain unresolved.I therefore ask that you Vote for me as I am willing to put forth those burning questions that no one has ever had the courage to bring forth ,in the hope that you all have a pleasant experience whilst at Christchurch earlier than later just as i did.
