One of my biggest dream was to be able to participate on a running competition, but because I never had any friends who done it, or anybody who can support me in my journey, it was very hard for me to even think that I could do it. 
Until one of my work colleagues had told me about him training for a charity 10k run. Straight away I remember about my dream, and in that same day I enrolled, myself, as well in the run.

Without having my colleague, with who I was constantly chatting and advising each other about the run, him being a beginner as well, I would have probably never started believing that I could do it.
I fully finished the run, I got my 10k medal and since than I participate in few other charity competitions, and I am constantly training and now I know that I can do it because I believe in myself.
As a president of engagement and sports I will be the support everybody needs and I will do everything that is in my powers to help student get motivated in getting involved in sport and physical extracurricular activities.
I will represent the student voice on a number of University committees.
I will ensure my work is influenced by students needs and opinions.
