PRESIDENT – BRADLEY DODZO

Hello everyone, I'm Bradley. I am a second year and I will be your President of MedSoc. As President, I’m all about making sure our Medical Society runs as smoothly as it can. Expect some interesting events, maybe some collaborations and, hopefully, lots of good memories along the way. You'll probably find me galavanting around or playing some sort of sport but feel free to reach out – I'm here to make sure that MedSoc thrives and treats its members as best as it can.

VICE PRESIDENT –  SAHAR ALI

Hey everyone! I’m a first year and I’m your Vice President for the year. I hope to make MedSoc as enjoyable and supportive for all the year groups. I help Brad with running MedSoc - doing everything he doesn't do or tells me to do. He would be lost without me. As Mrs International, I’m also here to support everyone from wherever they come from. I’m happy to help in any way :)

TREASURER –  FREDRICK DUNCAN

Hey everyone, I'm Fredrick, the Treasurer of KMMS MedSoc. My main focus is ensuring that we have the resources to create exciting opportunities for all of us. I'm all about making sure we can put together amazing events and activities that bring us together and make our time here unforgettable. Let's work together to make the most of our time and create some fantastic experiences!

LEAD SOCIAL SEC –  DAISY HIGHE

Hi, I'm Daisy and I'm the Social Sec for Medsoc! My role involves planning and organising all the fun stuff we do, from jewellery making, to club nights, to our annual balls! You can usually find me in cute cafes attempting to revise (but actually scrolling on tiktok)! Love you all xx

DEPUTY SOCIAL SEC –  LAURA ROGERS

I’m Laura, a 3rd year KMMS student from Brighton. I’ve been on MEDSOC committee for the last 3 years and have been social sec for 2 of them. I love putting on fun events for you all. Hello, I'm Gabriel, I am your sub-society lead for MedSoc. My role involves overseeing coordination between MedSoc and its sub-societies, assisting sub-society presidents with any challenges or issues they may face. Also, something funny.

SPORTS LEAD –  SONY TENE

Hey, my name is Sony I’m the sports lead and my role is to organise sports events and help manage the many Sports Sub-societies of Medsoc. Currently, I’m in my second year and enjoy playing football and climbing.

SPORTS LEAD –  FREJA LEVERITT

Hi my name is Freja - I’m female sports lead and netball captain! I’m here to support anyone at KMMS who wants to get involved in sport but doesn’t know where to start - particularly kmms students who identify as women or non binary. I’m here to listen to concerns or ideas and advocate for you! I’m also here to convince you to come and play netball as its the best sporting soc here at KMMS

BMA REPRESENTATIVE – CELETIA AGYEIWAA

Hi everyone, I am KMMS’s student representative for the British Medical Association. My role is to consider and address issues of importance to medical students and make sure your views are represented. I’m here to support you with concerns regarding finance, education and welfare. I’m always happy to help so feel free to drop me a message.

WELLBEING AND WIDENING PARTICIPATION –  NIKISHA MACBRIDE

My work mainly focuses on the well-being of our current students and widening participation in our future students, sometimes that's just having a chat and sometimes it's about going out and speaking to potential students. Either way, I work with the Medical School to improve the ways it can be supportive of us as students.

Hi all, I’m Rohan and I’m a second year. I am the current Equality, Diversity and Inclusion lead in Medsoc. Hi I’m Millie! I’m in third year and based at MTW hospital trust. I’m your first point of call for anything within the realm of Equality, Diversity and Inclusivity throughout your clinical placement years. Hi everyone I’m Oli. I’m the lead academic rep for this years KMMS med soc. I’m here to try and make sure everything is as easy and smooth as possible to make sure everyone has the best time they can. Hi, I'm Umaymah and I am your Year 1 Academic Rep. I hope to be the person who can help all the new Year 1s get settled into the school as best as they can bringing in any worries and questions to the school for consideration. Hi, I’m Oseyi and I’m from the Republic of Ireland! I’m in 4th year and I’m interested in general practice and dermatology. Last year, I helped with the proposal to KMMS for Passmed subscriptions for all students. I enjoyed this process and decided to take on a bigger role this year as Yr 4 academic rep. Fun fact about me is I can solve a Rubik’s cube in 2 minutes
