Why do you want to apply for an Officer position?

I am originally Canterbury Christ Church University student, studying international business. I have studied GSSE, A levels in Biology, Physics, chemistry, and Humanities in master’s which provided me with a multiple academic exposure. I started my carrier by working with Qasim Ali Shah foundation, Pakistan as a motivational speaker and carrier counsellor which led me to develop communication skills, convincing aptitude, and understanding abilities.

Later, I got an experience of student representative (volunteer role) in my bachelor’s which helped me to improve organisational skills and develop problem solving abilities by working with my faculty members. This also helped me to develop empathetic behaviour for others. I worked as a teacher in a private college and my skills like teamwork, management, punctuality, working under pressure and engagement with students of different backgrounds were polished. After moving to the UK, I worked as personal assistant and added more value to my skills Currently, I am working as Chief Organiser in Pakistan Student Community. In this role I have been engaged in problem solving for the students, learnt about the challenges new students face when they enter to the UK. Through this role I try to make this community more influential in providing helping hands to newbies and enhance my past skills and capabilities. This helped me a lot to work on international forum and I got a confidence for the role I am applying.

From my experience, I think I have gained potential that can make a good officer. My motivation for this role is to help students get more job experience by teaming up with other universities and companies. My aim is to make a university great place for everyone to learn and grow. By taking these steps productive brains will play positive role in the country development. Because I believe in that students are the assets of the nation.
