Placement Enhancer: First Year Placements

Join us for a supportive and open talk led by our 3rd year Occupational Therapy students as they share their real experiences from their very first placements. This session is designed to reassure, inform, and empower you as you prepare for your first placement. 
You’ll hear honest reflections about what the first day really feels like, how they built confidence, what surprised them, and the small strategies that made the biggest difference. There’ll be space to ask questions, ease any nerves, and get practical tips from people who’ve stood exactly where you are now.
Whether you’re excited, anxious, or somewhere in between, this is a chance to feel more prepared, more grounded, and more connected to your OT community.

Whilst this event is designed for those about to embark on their first placement, all members are welcome.  Please look out for a future event in which our third years discuss later placements.
