For Sports Clubs…
The Code of Practice for Sports Clubs 2025/26 is a useful summary of how we fund club sport, our responsibilities, and yours as a member.
The Sports Club Model Constitution is the template document you need when establishing a new Sports Club. The Union will support you with adopting, or changing your student group constitution - just get in touch.
Here you can find details of the insurance cover the Union provides as part of your Club Sport Membership. If you need to make a claim, get in touch with alex.cotter@ccsu.co.uk.
Christ Church Students’ Union is committed to ensuring that there is open access to everyone who wishes to participate in sports and that they are treated fairly within any sport they choose to participate in. This is detailed in our Trans and Non-Binary Participation in Sport Guidance.
Fines
This resource outlines circumstances where clubs will be fined from their club accounts vs when Christ Church Sport & Active Health or Christ Church Students’ Union will cover the bill. It will also explain the process in which we will come to a fair outcome on how much to fine clubs.
