Green Party Society

Hello and welcome to the Green Party Society! We are a student led society dedicated to creating a welcoming environment into Green politics in the UK.

The Green Party is far from being just an 'environment' party. We stand for climate and social justice, worker's rights, free and fair education, radical democracy and freedom from oppression. We're proud to support issues important to students; including a Free Palestine, renters rights, full rights for trans and non-binary people, universal basic income, abolition of university tuition fees and a comprehensive Green New Deal.

We have lots of opportunities to get involved in local campaigns with the local Green Party as well as providing a space to socialise and discuss the things that matter to us most. We welcome people from all backgrounds, including those who don’t have a huge understanding of politics. You don’t need to be a member of the green party to join.

This is a collaborative society, and we are always open to suggestions on what else we can get up to.
