CCCU Badminton Club welcomes players of all backgrounds, abilities, and skills to join. The abilities at the club range from players who have never played before to players who have played at county & international levels. We all train as one big club without separating the competitive and the social players. Badminton is the perfect sport for those looking to improve their skills and fitness whilst gaining lifelong friendships.

We train at Christ Church Sports Centre on Tuesdays, 8:15pm - 9:45pm. The women's and men's teams compete regularly in British Universities and Colleges Sport (BUCS) on Wednesdays, starting in September 2025. Our final match of the year is in the highly anticipated Varsity match against the University of Kent.

We look forward to welcoming you to our club!

How to Join

In order to play for sports teams at Christ Church you need to purchase the two different memberships linked on this page: Students' Union Sport Membership and Christ Church Sport Subscription.

Christ Church Sport Subscription + Students' Union Sport Membership = Sports Club Member

Without both memberships & subscription you will not be able to take part in your club's activities, training and matches.

Once you have selected your Badminton membership, you can process your Christ Church Sport Subscription.
