Welcome to the CCCU Cricket Club

Hello there! Welcome to Cricket! We’re a super fun and inclusive mixed-gender club where everyone is welcome to join. We play in both indoor and outdoor BUCS Seasons against different universities, and we even have a varsity fixture against our rival uni, Kent!

Whether you’re a first-year student or you’re already at uni, we’re looking for players of all abilities, whether you’re a seasoned cricket pro or you’ve never picked up a bat before. We’ve got a mix of players from club and county level to those who are just starting out.

Joining a sports team is an amazing way to make lifelong friends and create unforgettable memories. We train every Monday at Polo Farm. The women’s team trains from 5:30 pm to 7:00 pm, and the men’s team trains from 7:00 pm to 8:30 pm.

We compete in the indoor and outdoor BUCS, just like we said before. The men’s 1s team has been going to the National finals day for indoor two years in a row, and they finished 4th in 2024 and 3rd in 2025. That’s the best we’ve ever done as a uni!

How to Join

In order to play for sports teams at Christ Church you need to purchase the two different memberships linked on this page: Students' Union Sport Membership and Christ Church Sport Subscription.
