The Archaeological Society

Welcome to the Archaeological Society! This is a space for non-archaeological and archaeological students to come together :)

We've come together to create a collective for those interested in history, archaeology and culture to come together, hang out and share a space where everyone has the same interests! Canterbury is a UNSECO world heritage site, and with an increasingly large cohort on the BA course and an open discussion at the student rep meeting for an interest in inter-year and cross-course communication, we wanted to create a social space for all students to hang out and meet each other. This group is being started by archaeology students, but is open to all with any level of interest! <3
 

We would like to provide opportunities to students with both educational visits and trips alongside getting into contact with local archaeological/heritage units for workshops and opportunities in order to encourage interest in history and local heritage for those both on and not on the course :)
