Welcome to Men’s Hockey!

Have you played Hockey before? Or want to get started? We have you covered for both, offering two competitive teams, the 2’s playing in Southern Tier 5 offering a more beginners level tailored for the not so experienced players. And the 1’s playing in a competition driven Southern Tier 2 with challenges around every corner.

Both teams have home and away fixtures, home fixtures will be played at Polo Farm, and the latter will likely be in and around London areas.

We offer training and inclusion for absolutely everyone no matter the skill level with our players ranging from National League level to people picking up the stick for the first time!

Training is on Monday evenings at 17:30-19:00, and anyone is welcome to try it out. We train and play on the pitches at Polo Farm, which are some of the best facilities in the country. There is a free shuttle bus that can take you to Polo Farm, which is operated by the University and runs from Old Seasons House.

We have socials every Wednesday at Albery’s that begin at 8pm feel free to attend those too!

Men’s Hockey is all about harbouring great friendships and connections here at University, with it serving to be a ‘second family’ for those who study away from home. It is more than a social and training club, it is a dedicated, open and honest community with the main goal of helping others feel more comfortable here at University.
