Welcome to NurseSoc! We are a Nursing society run by passionate students, looking for innovative and creative ways to enhance your learning experience whilst you attend University. We aim to give our members access to subsidised study days with industry professionals and enhance your future Nursing careers.
We know the demands that studying a health course can bring and we want our members to know they are not alone in their concerns. There will be opportunities to receive support, bringing you closer to others in your cohorts from Canterbury or Medway on our whatsapp group chat and in-person socials. We are all in this together!
It won’t always be work, the society will host fun events along the way, so our members have something to look forward to once placements and assignments are done. We can’t wait to see you sign up and get involved in a society that cares for you, as you care for others.
A membership gives you free access to some great online events: specialist speakers, fun tutorials and peer support sessions! We will also be sharing some useful resources so make sure you catch us on social media. We will be hosting a mixture of sober and drinking socials in canterbury town and on campus. Previously, we have hosted pub crawls, cafe socials, movie nights, and more.
