The main objectives of the Desi Society are:

 i.          Cultural Celebration: To create a welcoming environment where Desi culture, traditions, and heritage can be actively celebrated, shared, and preserved among

ii.          Community and Support: To establish a supportive social network and a safe space for Desi students, helping them navigate university life, address common cultural and personal challenges, and maintain a connection to their roots.

iii.          Cultural Exchange and Inclusion: To serve as a platform for sharing Desi culture with the broader university community, promoting understanding, awareness, and inclusion through diverse and engaging events.

iv.          Awareness and Dialogue: To foster an open platform for discussing and raising awareness about relevant social, cultural, and political issues facing the Desi community, both locally and internationally.
