Welcome to the British Sign Language Society at Canterbury Christ Church University!
Our mission as a society is to:
- Provide Opportunities - Offer access to BSL resources and learning opportunities to enhance communication skills and learn about D/deaf culture.
- Promote Inclusivity - Bridge the gap between the hearing and D/deaf communities to create a more accessible and welcoming atmosphere in the Canterbury area.
- Participate in Change - Drive efforts to expand BSL use and raise awareness throughout Canterbury City, contributing to greater understanding and inclusivity.
