Vice Captain

I have played rugby since I was 11 across multiple positions, giving me a broad understanding of the game and strong decision-making under pressure. I remain composed in high-intensity moments and aim to project that calmness across the entire team. Having captained before, I understand what it takes to lead, and I pride myself on being approachable and supportive off the pitch, always willing to listen and help teammates. The partnership with Canterbury RFC is a fantastic opportunity, especially for newer players, and I would work to strengthen it further. While culture improved toward the end of the season, there is still work to do. I would focus on increasing training attendance and holding players accountable for poor commitment. My leadership style is inclusive, encouraging ideas at the right time rather than dictating. I will ensure we fulfil all fixtures, remain competitive in the league, and take opportunities for friendlies. Using Veo analysis, I will work with coaches to identify areas for improvement and make training sessions purposeful. Rugby has always been central to my life, and representing this club has been one of my best experiences. It would be an honour to captain and help drive the team forward.
