I am standing for the position of President of CCCU Men’s Rugby not for the title, but because I genuinely care about the club and want to see it succeed. As I enter my third year with the club, I feel this is the right time for me to step up and take on a leadership role. Over the past year, I have served as Social Secretary. This role has given me valuable experience not only in organising events and socials, but also in working closely with the rest of the committee and building relationships with other clubs. It has strengthened my organisational skills, communication, and ability to contribute effectively as part of a team. A key priority for me is the sustainability and growth of the club. I am committed to supporting recruitment, ensuring strong organisation behind the scenes, and maintaining a club that is both financially stable and well-run. This includes working collaboratively with the committee to plan ahead, secure resources, and uphold high standards in training, player welfare, and administration. Above all, I will be an approachable and proactive President—someone who listens, takes initiative, and represents the interests of all members. Thank you for your consideration.
