Hi everyone, I’m Jamie, and I’m running for president. I care a lot about this club and the people in it. It’s something I’ve genuinely enjoyed being part of, and I want to make sure it stays welcoming, well run, and worth being involved in. One of my main priorities is making the club approachable, especially for people who are new to snowsports. It can feel quite intimidating starting out, so I want to make sure anyone can get involved without feeling out of place. That means properly organised, beginner-friendly trips, clear information so people know what to expect, and support for those trying skiing or snowboarding for the first time. At the same time, it should still work well for more experienced members too — just with a better balance so everyone gets something out of it. I’ll put the time in, stay on top of things, and make sure nothing gets overlooked. I want the club to run smoothly so people can just enjoy being on the mountain and being part of it.
