What is your Manifesto?

Hey girls, I’m running for president because this club has given me so much, and I’d love the chance to give something back. It’s more than just rugby; it’s the friendships, confidence, support, and memories we’ve made along the way. I’d love to help lead us into another fun, slightly chaotic season! I don’t think the role needs reinventing, just built upon. If elected, I’ll work to make the club more organised, inclusive, and exciting, helping everyone get the most out of both their membership and university experience. I’d introduce a clear yearly timetable so everyone knows key dates and can plan ahead. I also want to expand what we do beyond rugby with more fundraising events supporting good causes. Outside training, I’d add more chances to socialise: Christmas dinner, club supper, monthly sober socials, and day trips to strengthen team bonds. On the pitch, I want to make the most of our community rugby links through friendlies and joint sessions with local teams to increase game time, boost skills and fitness, and build friendships beyond uni. I’d also improve your experience by updating the equipment, adding multiple stash drops, and celebrating our team's achievements more through our social media.
