What is your Manifesto?

Rugby isn’t a sport you play alone. It’s built on commitment to each other, through tough training sessions, hard losses, and the moment where we dig deep and find something extra. As Vice-Captain, I saw first-hand the effort everyone puts in, and it’s that effort that makes this team special. I had the chance to learn what it really means to lead – not just by wearing a title, but by earning trust, setting standards and putting the team first in everything I do. This season, I promise to give everything I have, I’ll push you, support you and stand with you no matter what comes our ways, from wins, to losses, to injuries. I’ll encourage us to train harder, play smarter and back each other every second we’re on the field, and when things get tough, we’ll stick together as a team. I’ll be the voice between the players and the coaches, will introduce more fitness blocks to prepare us for the season ahead and help make training sessions more fun and engaging whilst receiving feedback from the coaches. Thank you for trusting me as Vice-captain last year, and hopefully you’ll trust me as Captain this year.
