Treasurer

Hey everyone, I would love to be treasurer for the Jets this year! I've enjoyed my first year of uni so much because of the positive impact that being part of this fantastic team has had on my overall experience. I believe I am an enthusiastic, capable and reliable member of the team and I would apply these qualities to the role of treasurer. Going into my second year, I want to give something back to the team, ensuring everyone feels secure where their money is being spent, which I intend to do if given this role. I've had previous experience in organising fundraising events and distributing funds as head girl of my sixth form, allowing me to work well within a team, which I consider an important part of being on a committee. Additionally, I have a background in gymnastics where, as a team, we held multiple fundraising events to raise money for travelling abroad and around the country for various competitions, similarly to the Jets.
