What is your Manifesto?

Wellbeing plays a vital role in cheer, supporting both performance and team culture. My aim is to make wellbeing a consistent and visible part of everyday team life. Cheer is both a physically and mentally demanding sport. Also balancing training sessions, competitions, and university life can be challenging. I want to create an environment where every single member of the Jets feels supported, included, and able to perform at their best while enjoying the experience. As Wellbeing Officer, I will focus on three key areas: Everyday Support I will introduce simple systems such as bi-weekly check-ins and open communication channels, ensuring all members feel heard and supported throughout the season. Team Culture I aim to promote a positive environment where effort is recognised, confidence is built, and all members including new and injured athletes feel valued and involved. Events I will organise regular wellbeing events such as reset sessions and inclusive socials, alongside a signature charity event to bring the team together for a meaningful cause. Overall, I want to make wellbeing a natural part of the C4 Jets identity, helping every member feel supported, motivated, and able to thrive.
