Musical Director

Hi, my name is Lily, and I would love to be considered for Musical Director for the 2026/27 academic year. I will be a second‑year Applied Criminology with Criminal Investigation student, and I believe this role aligns perfectly with my passions and ideas for the society. Theatre has been a constant in my life, from watching productions to performing in them, and I’m committed to creating a show that unites the cast and showcases our collective talent. I want to help build a society where all vocal abilities feel supported, challenged, and inspiredwhether you’ve sung for years or are stepping into theatre for the first time.I understand that direction is about listening, not dictating. My goal is to create a rehearsal space where people feel comfortable experimenting, asking questions, and trying new vocal parts. I want our sound to reflect the individuality and strength of every member, not just one unified tone. My experience in college and theatre school, along with four years of singing lessons and leading workshops, has strengthened my passion for vocal technique. I hope to share this through resources, 1‑1 support, and small‑group sessions. I want rehearsals to feel accessible, stress‑free, and confidence‑building for everyone Thanks!
