Musical Director

Hi! I'm Sophie!!! I’ve spent this year as your President, and I think it’s time I take a step back whilst being able to continue to run all of your singing sessions, and put all of my energy and focus into helping you guys get the most out of the musical experience. Essentially being Musical Director would keep me as the front-facing figure that I hope you’ve all enjoyed having this year! I have YEARS of musical experience which I’d like to continue to share by catering to the mixed ability group whilst still pushing you all to try new skills. Seeing you all grow in skill and confidence this year has been beautiful, and hearing my creative visions come to life is indescribable, so my main aim is that by the end of the year we feel we have achieved something! Next year, I’d focus on bringing new perks, such as more A Cappella pieces and more 1:1 singing sessions. I’ll strive to keep our rehearsals a safe and inclusive space, and you would of course get a say in the music we’re doing, because there’s no point if you’re not enjoying yourselves.
