Social Secretary

Hi, I’m Brogan, and I’d love to be your Social Secretary for the Musical Theatre Society. This society has been such a big part of my first year, and a lot of that comes from the social side of it, it’s where people really get to know each other and feel part of something. As Social Sec, I’d like to make sure our events are inclusive and enjoyable for everyone. That means creating a mix of socials that work for people who drink and people who don’t, so no one ever feels left out or uncomfortable. I think it’s really important that everyone feels like they can come along and have a good time, regardless of what they prefer. I’d also aim to keep things varied and fun, with a balance of nights out, chilled socials, and opportunities to properly bond as a group. I’m quite a social person, and I’ve already become close with a lot of people in the society, which I think helps in understanding what people actually want from socials. I’d put real effort into making sure everyone feels included and that our socials are something people genuinely look forward to.
