President

Hi, I’m Brogan, and I would love to be your President next year for the Musical Theatre Society. I’m currently in my first year studying Theatre and Performance, and joining this society has genuinely been one of the best parts of my uni experience. From the start, it’s been such a welcoming space, and I quickly found somewhere I could be myself and feel like I belonged. Over this year, I’ve become really close with so many of you, which is why I care so much about this society. It’s not just something I’m part of, it’s something I’m genuinely invested in, and I feel I understand what makes it so special from a member’s perspective. As President, I want to protect that feeling and make sure everyone feels safe, included, and comfortable getting involved, no matter their experience. I’d put real time and effort into helping the society grow while keeping the supportive, fun atmosphere we all value. I’d also continue our connection with the Marlowe Theatre, and my course puts me in a strong position to stay on top of new opportunities for all of us!
