Social Secretary

I think I will make a great social secretary - I am approachable and organised. I rarely miss current social events and I am up for anything, from sober poster making to dressing up as an alien and painting my face green. My goal is to make our society a place where everyone feels welcome and excited to get involved. University isn’t just about studying but meeting new people and making memories too! Wednesdays are my favourite day of the week, and I want that to be the case for everyone. I will do this by ensuring fun and engaging socials that are suitable for everyone – fun costumes, games and socialising will be at the centre of our Wednesday nights. When I first joined the society I felt so welcomed and I will continue this as next years social secretary – everyone will feel part of the society, whether a new member or a current member. Furthermore, I will promote events efficiently making sure nothing is missed out, and I will work closely with the student union to ensure all events are properly planned.
