Vice-President

I am applying for this role because I want to play an active part in ensuring our society runs as smoothly as possible. I have been a committed member throughout my first year on the team, who gets on with everyone. I feel as though this is important for a vice president, as this rapport will help me as the vice president communicate with the society and president, ensuring information is circulated around the group efficiently. Furthermore, I have great organisation skills, which will help me complete vice-president roles as well as I possibly can, such as booking rooms for meetings as well formulating the end of year handover. If elected, I will work closely with the president, providing consistent support and stepping up when needed. My main goal as vice president is to make sure our society is a welcoming environment for everyone, with no negativity. I want to make sure football is fun and enjoyable for all – being part of the football society has been my highlight of uni so far and I want this to be the same for others. Ultimately, as vice president I will work closely with the president to ensure another great year!
