What is your Manifesto?

I am standing for the role of Charity Officer for 2026/27 because I want to use the strong sense of community within our society to make a real, positive impact beyond our weekly training sessions. I want charity work to be meaningful, inclusive, and genuinely fun for everyone involved. I have really enjoyed being involved in our society’s charity work so far. The 24-hour pole hold was a challenging but rewarding experience that showed me what we can achieve when we come together and support each other. I have also helped with baking and selling at our bake sale, and I have attended and supported all of our charity showcases, which I have always found inspiring and motivating. If elected, I would build on these experiences by organising more creative and accessible fundraising events that everyone feels comfortable taking part in. This could include themed socials, collaborations with other societies, and fun challenges that bring people together while raising money for causes we care about. I would also ensure we choose charities that resonate with our members and maintain clear, transparent communication so everyone understands the impact we are creating as a team. Thank you for your consideration.
