Social Secretary

i would love to be social secretary because i genuinely believe the social side of a club is just as important as the competitive side. being part of netball has shown me how much more connected a team becomes when we spend time together outside of training and matches. some of my favourite memories from this year were from socials, which were always somthing i looked forward to after a wednesday match, they gave me a change to unwind, have fun, dress up and spend time with the whole club. having this time to relax in such a fun enviroment made a huge difference and i would love to help create that same welcoming and supportive enviroment for others to enjoy. as social secretary, i would aim to create events that are inclusive, varied and enjoyable for everyone, whether its themed nights out or sober socials, ill ensure people feel comfortable, included and excited to get involved. overall id love the opportunity to contribute to the social side of netball by creating a fun, balanced, and welcoming environment for all members.
