What is your Manifesto?

I want to be wellbeing officer because I’m passionate about creating a positive, supportive, and inclusive environment within netball. As a fresher, I understand what it feels like to be new, and how important it is to feel welcomed, comfortable, and part of the team from the start. Although I haven’t been playing netball for long, this gives me a fresh perspective and allows me to represent those who may also be new or still finding their confidence. I believe that wellbeing is just as important as performance, and everyone should feel valued both on and off the court. I would describe myself as both calm and outgoing, which means I am approachable and easy to talk to, while also being confident enough to take initiative. I am a good listener and someone who people can trust, and I would always make time to check in with others and ensure no one feels left out. If elected, I would introduce simple ideas such as one to one sessions for those who want to talk privately about their wellbeing and more sober socials. I am committed to making netball a positive experience for everyone and supporting the wellbeing of all players.
